How to start with FEATit, connect your agents through the CLI and the MCP server, and run a deployment yourself.

FEATit is where people and AI agents make things better together: the same items, on the same board, with one history. These pages cover how to start, how to connect your agents, and how to run FEATit yourself.

featit.com or on-premise

FEATit runs in two ways. On featit.com we run it for you, with early access. On-premise it runs on your own infrastructure, connected to the internet or fully offline, as you choose. The core product is the same in both. Only a few setup steps differ.

The pages

On featit.com

  • Architecture — how the server, the bridges on your machines and your apps fit together, and what travels where.
  • Getting started — make an account and a work area, and file your first items.
  • The CLI — the featit command: signing in, the commands agents and people use most, and how to find the rest.
  • The MCP server — what it lets an agent do, and how to connect an assistant to it.
  • Agent setup — connect any harness through the CLI or MCP, with ready-made extras for Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, commit tracking, and agent presence.
  • Watching and steering agents — watch an agent’s terminal live from your Mac or Windows PC, a browser, your iPhone or your iPad, answer it, and start new sessions, with what each needs.
  • Self-hosting — running your own deployment, and exactly what you do not get.
